It drafts root cause investigations, prepares audit evidence, coordinates corrective actions across owners, maps regulatory changes to the operational requirements they affect, and identifies recurring issues across incidents, audits and compliance records. Because it operates inside the system rather than alongside it, it has access to the organization's own incident history, jurisdictional regulatory requirements and internal policies — Ideagen positions this explicitly against generic AI assistants that require exporting data, switching context and translating results back into the workflow. Two design decisions matter considerably more than any capability claim. Every AI-generated output requires human review and approval before it becomes part of the official record. And Ideagen states that Mazlan operates within the customer's secure cloud infrastructure, learns only from that customer's data, and is not used to train models outside the organization.
